Black and white images with sharp outlines are much easier for baby to see in the first few months of life when it is hard for them to focus, and hard for them to see shades of colour. Mesmerised black and white books for babies will not only keep your baby stimulated & engaged, but will also help to nurture visual development.

Unlike other black and white baby books on the market, Mesmerised images have no unnecessary detail, colour or line work. The images have been designed in a very simple style to make them as easy as possible for newborn babies to see.

Babies will be absolutely mesmerised by the black and white images in this gorgeous book. From a ladybug and its spots, to a snail crawling up the side of the page, the whimsical designs will delight both parent and baby. Great for propping open on the playmat beside baby and also for encouraging ‘tummy time’.

If your baby favours one side of the head or has a flat spot on one side, Mesmerised products can also be used to encourage your baby to turn both sides of its head; prop the book open to the non-favoured side and the attraction of the black and white images will keep your baby engaged long enough to exercise the muscles on the weaker side.

‘Go to’ gift

This book is my ‘go to’ gift when friends and family have a baby. I was gifted it for my own babies and they both loved it. It was perfect for keeping them happy on the mat, especially during tummy time!

Mesmerising!

Hey Kathy “Mesmerised” really works! The first time we placed our little newborn on her tummy time rug and placed your book in front of her, she appeared totally absorbed; particularly absorbed by the spiral page.
Thanks heaps for turning some early child development research into a lovely, practical gift.

Beloved staple

From the moment I introduced it to my little one, the mesmerising black and white images captured their attention like nothing else. It's incredible how something so simple can bring so much joy. Whether it's watching the ladybug or tracing the snail's journey, every page is a precious moment of bonding and exploration. Plus, it's been fantastic for tummy time, keeping my baby happily engaged. The baby board book has truly become a beloved staple in our daily routine. I can't recommend it enough to fellow mums looking to delight and stimulate their newborns!

Perfect for babies who hate tummy time

This board book was a game changer for my baby when she was little and disliked tummy time. We had tried lots of ways to keep her happy on her tummy and this book was the first thing that worked. Also it's not a book they "grow out of" super soon, my baby still enjoyed looking at well past the age of 2, either with her daddy making up a story to go with it, or just paging through it on her own looking at the pictures. This has become my go-to gift for new parents.
